The Southwest Missouri State Lady Bears picked up a win in their exhibition finale 78-49 over Athletes in Action. The Lady Bears end the preseason 2-0. A 34-5 run in the second-half broke this game open. Erica Vicente led the way with 19 points and ten assists in the win. Some bad news for the Lady Bears, senior forward Carolyn Weirick is out for a month after undergoing surgery on her left knee. She suffered cartlage damage in the first SMS preseason win.
