Things are improving at Kansas City-based Vanguard Airlines – so much, in fact, that the airline is calling back all pilots who were furloughed following the September 11th terrorist attacks. Passenger traffic is up, and schedule changes have been made by the airline. Vanguard is adding new flights and needs the pilots to fly the planes to those destinations. The company has also announced it has reinforced the cockpit doors on its entire fleet and is considering additional security measures.
