FBI agents in Missouri say they are heeding the warning of US Attorney General John Ashcroft to be on alert for another possible terrorist attack. FBI Agent Jeff Lanza in the Kansas City office notes the Justice Department didn’t give any specifics to go on, so everyone needs to pay close attention to anything out of the ordinary. The warning issued by the Attorney General won’t have much of a practical effect on FBI offices though. Lanza says they have been on a heightened state of alert for some time.
