The Griffons of Missouri Western improved to 7-2 on the season and 5-2 in the MIAA with a 28-6 win over Missouri Southern on Thursday night. Senior QB Kasey Waterman threw two touchdown passes for the Griffons in the win. With their 5-2 MIAA record, Western is just a half game out of first in the conference.
