Today’s St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that St. Louis Rams RB Marshall Faulk will sit out Sunday’s game with the New Orleans Saints as he continues to recover from that bone bruise in his knee. Rams head coach Mike Martz had said all week that he was leaning towards sitting Faulk out of this game, and the decision was reportedly made yesterday. Trung Candidate will get the start in his place. Candidate started for Faulk last week in that 34-14 win over the New York Jets and he rushed for 195 yards and two touchdowns.
