It was not the type of home opener that the St. Louis Blues counted on last night as they fell apart in the third-period, allowing four Los Angeles goals, in a 6-5 loss to the Kings. Steve Heinze scored the game-winner for LA, beating Blues goalie Brent Johnson with just 37-seconds remaining in regulation. Johnson stopped just 20 of the 26 shots he faced in defeat. Scott Young had two goals and an assist in defeat for St. Louis. Blues are 0-1-2 in the early going.
