A southwest Missouri lawmaker has been elected President of The National Order of Women Legislators – a non-partisan group that aims to build strong leadership and helps women legislators excel in their elected positions. State Representative Linda Bartelsmeyer (R-Aurora) will head up the foundation through the general elections of November of next year. There are approximately 1,700 women lawmakers in the country. All are eligible to join the foundation.
