Governor Bob Holden is defending his plans to deal with the problem of urban sprawl. Cities and towns get bigger and development forces expansion. So-called urban sprawl is a fact of life in many states. Here in Missouri, it causes a lot of problems because of the importance of the agriculture industry in this state. The Govenror has suggested the creation of a study group to look into the matter.
