Secretary of State Matt Blunt, a naval reserve officer, has been called up to active duty. He’s been ordered to return to the Navy, where he currently serves as a lieutenant in the U.S. Naval Reserve. Blunt received the call-up Tuesday, with the official announcement expected today. Blunt is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. He then spent five years in the Navy as an engineering officer.
