Governor Bob Holden and First Lady Lori Hauser Holden took part,today, in the annual “National Walk Our Children to School Day.” The Holdens walked their 7-year-old son to West Elementary School in Jefferson City. The Holdens say walking children to school gives people the chance to get to know their community, and it’s great exercise.
