The 1138th Military Police Company, located in West Plains and Springfield, has been called to active duty in support of Operation Noble Eagle. The company will report to Fort Leonard Wood on Wednesday for training and planning. The unit will get further stationing guidance after reporting to Fort Leonard Wood. This is separate from the 400 Missouri National Guard members who will be trained in airport security and at eight airports throughout the state by this weekend.
