The special session of the Missouri Legislature has opened with House members spending only a short time in the chamber before adjourning for the day. Only a few members attended today’s session. All Representatives are expected Monday. Several are expressing confidence that the prescription drug plan for senior citizens proposed by the Governor’s Task Force will pass easily during the special session.
