Troy Severson’s 40-yard field goal with seventeen seconds remaining gave the University of Nebraska-Omaha a 24-21 win over the visiting Northwest Missouri State Bearcats. Junior quarterback John McMenamin went 15-33 through the air for 307 yards and two touchdowns. He was also intercepted twice including a last-ditch effort in the end zone on the game’s final play. The Bearcats return to action next weekend to host the University of Minnesota St.-Mankato
