Fernando Vina, Edgar Renteria, Craig Paquette and Mike Matheny all went deep in the win for the Cardinals. Matt Morris allowed just two runs on nine hits in six innings of work to improve to 18-7 on the season. Houston beat Cincinnati 6-1 on Thursday to keep the Cards six games off the pace in the N.L. Central.
