Jim Edmonds homered and knocked in four runs to lead the St. Louis Cardinals to an 8-4 win over the Cincinnati Reds on Wednesday. The Cardinals have now won seven in a row and they remain four games back in the National League Central. Woody Williams (10-8) improves to 2-0 in a Cardinals uniform with five innings of solid work. He allowed three runs on six hits. The Cardinals will go for the sweep of the four-game series tonight behind Dustin Hermanson.
