College entrance exam scores for Mmissouri students are down from last year. But the state’s average is still ahead of the national average. The ACT’s are used as a predicter of success in college and many schools use the scores for college entrance requirements. Scores for Missouri high school students dropped by two-tenths of a point, compared to last year. On the positive side, Missouri averages are higher than national averages. But this state’s scores are behind neighboring Iowa, Illinois, and Kansas.
