The Kansas City Royals finally beat the Baltimore Orioles at Kauffman Stadium on Thursday, avoiding a four-game sweep with a 6-4 win. Kris Wilson pitched five shutout innings before tiring in the sixth and allowing four runs. He still earns the win, improving to 6-2 on the season. Raul Ibanez homered, doubled and knocked in three in the win for the Royals. Cal Ripken played his final game at Kauffman Stadium in this one, going 0-4. The Orioles third baseman is retiring at the end of the season.
