Raul Ibanez keyed a six-run third inning with a three-run double as the Kansas City Royals beat the Chicago White Sox 6-3 last night. The Royals take two of three from Chicago. Kansas City scored all their runs in the sixth. In addition to Ibanez’ big blow, Carlos Beltran, Dee Brown and Brent Mayne all added RBI hits in the inning. On the mound, the win goes to righthander Jef Suppan. He allowed three runs on six hits in 6 2/3 innings of work to win for the first time since June 29th. Roberto Hernandez pitched the ninth for his 19th save.
