The Kansas City Wizards dropped a 1-0 decision to the Chicago Fire last night in their second game of the U.S. Open Cup. The Fire scored the only goal of the game in the second minute of stoppage time as Hristo Stoitchkov beat Bo Oshoniyi to give the Fire the win. Kansas City returns to MLS action on Saturday as they face the Dallas Burn.
