A freshman State Representative is taking steps – literally – to rebuild confidence in the State Transportation Department. Representative Rod Jetton of Marble Hill is going to walk more than 250 miles in nine days from his southeast Missouri home to the Transportation Department offices in Jefferson City. He’ll be carrying a petition asking the Department to follow through on promises made almost a decade ago in the 15-year road plan. Jetton says there must be a new commitment to improve the state’s roads.
