Jeff Bagwell homered and knocked in three runs while Lance Berkman extended his hitting streak to 21-games with three knocks as the Houston Astros hammered the Kansas City Royals 14-5 on Sunday, completing a three-game sweep of the weekend interleague series. Bagwell dominated the Royals over the weekend, knocking in ten runs over the final two games of the series. Chad Durbin (6-8) takes the loss for Kansas City after he allowed five earned runs on six hits in 3 2/3 innings of work. The Royals did hit three home runs in defeat as Mark Quinn, Brent Mayne and David McCarty all went deep in defeat for the now 34-53 Royals.
