The Detroit Tigers rallied from a 3-1 deficit by scoring in every inning from the fourth on, rolling to a 6-4 win over the Kansas City Royals. The loss is the third straight for Kansas City and it goes to reliever Cory Bailey (1-1) who allowed three runs in 1 2/3 innings of relief work. Robert Fick and Juan Encarnacion went deep for the Tigers who win their second straight after an eight-game losing streak. Rey Sanchez knocked in a pair of runs in defeat for the Royals.
