Former SMS standout Jackie Stiles has been named the WNBA’s Player of the Week. The Portland Fire shooting guard averaged 21 points a game in three contests last week to raise her season’s average to more then 16 a game. Stiles scored 20 points last night on 9-14 shooting, but it wasn’t enough as Portland lost to Houston 74-67. Former Mizzou standout Amanda Lassiter started at forward for the Comets and scored five points while pulling down five rebounds.
