The Cleveland Indians completed their three-game sweep of the Kansas City Royals at Kaufmann Stadium yesterday afternoon with a 9-4 win. The Tribe outscored the Royals 30-10 during the three games. Dan Reichert allowed seven runs in five innings of work to take the loss, although he didn’t get much help. The Royals committed four errors in the game and only four of the nine runs they allowed were earned. Raul Ibanez knocked in a pair of runs in the loss for Kansas City. The Royals are now 10-18 on the season. They are 10 games behind the first-place Minnesota Twins in the American League Central. Twins open a weekend series in K.C. tonight.
