A Kansas City woman who was drunk and driving with her headlights off when she caused a two-fatality traffic crash has been sentenced to 14 years in prison. That’s the most Marla McCray could get after pleaded guilty to two counts of manslaughter. Police records say she was driving faster than 80 miles an hour in a 35-mile-an-hour zone when she hit the other car. McCray had asked the judge to consider putting her into a work-release program instead of sending her to prison.
