A message of toleration comes from the republican candidate for Vice President, Dick Cheney, during a visit to Kansas City. And he says toleration needs to be taught to young people. Citing the bible, Cheney said, “No matter how strongly held ones beliefs” all people need to honor others beliefs as we would want to be treated ourselves. Cheney also said society needs to demand more from schools, and if student performance does not improve, money should be taken away from schools.
