All of Missouri’s 92 delegates to the Democratic National Convention will vote for the presidential nomination of Al Gore. The state delegation went to Los Angeles divided. About 20 of the delegates supported former New Jersey Senator Bill Bradley, a native Missourian. Bradley has released them from their commitment. Jefferson City delegate Natalie Tackett says it won’t be hard for her to switch allegiances. State Representative Ted Farnen of Mexico supported Bradley and admits to surprise that Bradley’s campaign never took off like Arizona Senator John McCain’s did on the Republican side.
