35 water systems have made the State Department of Natural Resources list for failure to properly monitor the quality of their water. Patty Richey with the state Department of Natural Resources says a simple failure to monitor doesn’t disturb the department. They’re particularly concerned about systematic failures, especially at locations with a history of maximum levels of contaminants in their water.
