Bigger paychecks are coming to two Laclede County commissioners. A circuit judge has ruled their raises are constitutional. The county prosecutor filed suit to block pay hikes for the Eastern and Western County Commissioners, claiming there was no authority for the county to approve interim pay raises. The judge ruled a change in the terms from two to four years authorized by the state legislature did come with pay raises.
