Nearly 150 organizations are benefiting from $18 million dollars in state tax credits aimed at revitalizing Missouri neighborhoods. State Department of Economic Development spokesman Kristi Jamison says the awards continue the work of the Neighborhood Assistance Program. Businesses get tax credits for donating either money, products or services to non-profits working to help neighborhoods. The donations allow those agencies to leverage more than $36 million dollars in private contributions.
