Missouri’s delegates to the republican convention hope they witness history tonight. They’ll see a parade of speakers until 9:00 Missouri time, when Governor George W. Bush will make the most important speech of his career. Delegate Jerry Hunter of St. Louis says Bush’s goal will be to restore respect to the office when he speaks. Also tonight, Senator Kit Bond will cast Missouri’s delegate votes in favor of the Texas governor.
