A memorial will be erected at the State Capitol to honor state workers harmed or killed on the job. Governor Carnahan signed a bill into law that authorizes the memorial. Carnahan says it’s his hope the memorial will not only honor killed and maimed workers, but will become a reminder to workers, employers and lawmakers to enact safety measures to keep from adding to the number of people harmed in accidents.
