An aging baby boomer generation is sparking more and more advances in geriatric medicine. Dr. John Morley with St. Louis University School of Medicine’s geriatric division says it’s an exciting time to be in his field. Though technological advances are capturing much of the media attention, Morley says the simple things remain the most promising, such as exercise programs and doctors with a listening ear who can understand the problems facing their elderly patients.
