The Red Cross is scrambling to find new homes for three dozen people evacuated from a dilapidated Kansas City apartment building. Inspectors found blocked exits, broken smoke detectors and trash littering the building. It is home to forty poor and transient tenants. Linda Foster with the Kansas City area Red Cross says workers have plenty to do.
