Southwest Missouri State coach Barry Hinson discounts rumors he may be heading to Tulsa to replace Bill Self. Hinson coached in Tulsa for twelve years, as a high school coach, then at Oral Roberts University. Hinson says if Tulsa calls, he would be flattered, but he’s happy in Springfield for the time being. Self left Tulsa last week to take the head coaching job at Illinois.
