The MIAA hopes to fill the void when the Big 12 tournament moves from Kansas City to Texas in a couple of years. The MIAA will play it’s conference semi-finals and finals, for both the men’s and women’s tournaments, at Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City in 2003 and 2004. Currently, the league’s tournament games are all played at campus sites, with the higher seed hosting the games. The quarterfinal rounds will remain at campus sites.
