The Department of Corrections thought it was on the right track in dealing with inmates … now others feel the same way. The Ford Foundation and Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government have recognized the Department’s “Parallel Universe” program — which teaches offenders what they did that’s wrong … and offers them help in learning how to get back into society once they’ve serve their time.
