Mizzou’s Michelle Moran has earned all-America honors after finishing 11th in the heptathalon at the NCAA outdoor track and field championships. Moran finished with her second-best career point total. Teammate Jill Aholt placed 17th in the heptathalon. Missouri’s Christian Cantwell placed 18th in the shot put. He was the only freshman in the nation to qualify for nationals in any throwing event.Tonight, Tiger Derrick Peterson will try to repeat as the men’s 800 meter champion. Peterson has won three national championships, and eight Big 12 Championships in the 800. Also tonight, Missouri’s Ashley Wysong will compete in the women’s 800 final, and Ryan Pirtle is in the final of the steeplechase.
