It’s been almost two weeks since the Missouri Legislature wrapped up its work for the year and the state’s departments and agencies are mulling over the impact of the legislation passed. Some are calling it a do-nothing session but Kyle Vickers of the Missouri Department of Agriculture disagrees. He’s particularly pleased with a five-year program to fund the promotion of Missouri agricultural products in Missouri and in neighboring states. Under the plan, $1.4 million would be available the first year.
