In the wake of their brief stay in the post-season, the Blues are picking up awards for their terrific regular season. The Sporting News has named Joel Quenneville the NHL’s Coach of the Year, and Larry Pleau the league’s Executive of they year. The awards were voted on by NHL executives and coaches. Pittsburgh’s Jaromir Jagr was voted player of the year, with the Blues’ Chris Pronger finishing third.
