Polk County deputy sheriff Jeremy Lynn is in stable condition at a Springfield hospital…and police have arrested a man suspected of wounding him during a traffic stop. Police say Lynn was shot four times in the legs. Other bullets might have hit his safety vest. In custody on assault charges is Nathan Ray Bodine, who was caught after a search by officers from four southwest Missouri police agencies.
