For the first time in franchise history, the Blues are officially the best team in the NHL. The Blues thrilled the Kiel Center crowd with a come-from behind 6-5 win over Calgary last night, to clinch the best overall record. Captain Chris Pronger says he’s glad they won the President’s trophy at home, in front of their fans. Pronger scored a goal and added three assists. Pierre Turgeon scored twice, including a break-away goal that gave the Blues a brief 5-4 lead the third period. Scott Pellerin scored the winner with 5:10 left, when the puck deflected off his skate and into the net. The Blues have two games left, a home and home with Chicago this weekend. They will have home ice advantage throughout the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
