A man from O’Fallon involved in a 1.4-million dollar fraud scheme has been sentenced to more than four years in prison. David Thoma Junior was a bookeeper at a Jewish temple when he made out fraudulent checks on the temple’s bank accounts. The federal prosecutor says he used the money to buy houses, cars, jewelry, artwork…and go on vacations.
