The hospital administrator of the Heartland Regional Medical Center in St Joseph has been named commander of the Missouri Air National Guard. Steven McCamy was appointed to the post by Missouri Adjutant General John Havens. McCamy will oversee Missouri’s F-15 Fighter Wing, a bomber range and about 2700 people, among other things. He earned his wings in 1973 with the Navy and later flew with TWA. McCamy will be promoted to Brigadier General during ceremonies in St Joseph April 16th.
