Former Royal Brian McRae, who failed to make the Cardinals’ roster this spring, has landed in the broadcast booth. McRae is doing games for ESPN. McRae says he felt good this spring, and thought he had a chance to make the team in St. Louis, until the Cardinals acquired outfielder Jim Edmonds. McRae says he may still sign with another team, if the right situation comes along. He has already turned down an offer from Montreal.
