The Rams have acquired a backup for running back Marshall Faulk. Derek Loville comes to St. Louis from the Denver Broncos, for an undisclosed draft pick. Loville experienced limited minutes in Denver behind Terrell Davis and last year’s rookie sensation, Olandis Gary. He has played in 110 NFL games over ten seasons with the Seattle Seahawks, San Francisco 49ers and the Denver Broncos. He has three Super Bowl rings and has appeared in 18 postseason games. His best season was in 1995 with the 49ers where he gained 1,385 all-porpose and scored 13 touchdowns.
