Chiefs receiver Andre Rison has paid up, but still has legal trouble. Rison has settled his debt with a Kansas City electronics store, but Johnson County, Kansas district attorney Paul Morrison says the charges are still in place. Morrison says most defendants like Rison apply for the D.A.’s diversion program. After restitution and/or community service, the charges are usually dropped. Morrison says Rison has not requested diversion. The owner of the store says he is satisfied now that he has been paid.
